Doug was elected Local 480 Union President in May 2003 and his term will serve until elections in May 2006. Doug graduated from J.L. Crowe Secondary in 1971, started at Cominco as a summer student labourer, and has been a fireman for the past 30 years of his 33 years service with the Company.

Doug was elected Local 480 Union President in May 2003 and his term will serve until elections in May 2006. Doug graduated from J.L. Crowe Secondary in 1971, started at Cominco as a summer student labourer, and has been a fireman for the past 30 years of his 33 years service with the Company.
Doug is married to Colleen Jones, has 4 grown daughters and a dog named Jake. Doug and his wife Coleen, and (Jake) reside in Trail B.C.
His wife Colleen is Vice President of the BCGEU (British Columbia Government Employees Union).
Interests
Sports, hockey, baseball, golf and general activities with wife, family and friends.
